My Temporary Leave
It is with great pleasure I welcome Cristina Merino as an official BCNation root administrator! Over the next five months, I will be around, but come toward summer and a lot of unexpected family problems I am faced with, I not be around as much as I planned on. Cristina will be taking my place on staff for the time being that I am gone. Don't worry though! I will be popping in from time to time whenever I have the free time to do so! Cristina will be running every account in the summertime, and over the next five months, she will be popping in from time to time on accounts as I get her adjusted to everything she has to keep up with. With the transitions going on, it will not interfere with what is being worked on now. The collection book, the new site layout, and the works will all be worked on as planned. We just won't have many updates for a while. I have put a lot on my plate for this website, so I will finish what I started! If you have any questions, please leave an e-mail at staff@bcnation.net. We are currently experiencing problems with the comment system so comments are disabled for the time being. I have not had time to get the ask pages up, but I am working on it pretty much as you read this post! Once again, please welcome Cristina with open arms. Collection Book Update
Hey everyone! Don't forget in your letters to the guys, you CAN include Josh, Lou, and Eric. TJ did not make that very clear when he first announced it, so hopefull this clears up some confusion for you all! Also, if you have the time, take the time to add The Spin Cycle street team TJ and I are working on!

Updates, Updates, and Some More Updates
Sorry it has taken me so long to finally get this post up! You guys know I'm always late with getting stuff ready! I'm going to go in order from what I mentioned on Twitter last night. So, BCNation.net is getting a VIP section soon! I made this mistake last time of making the VIP section available to everyone, and it kind of defeated the purpose of having a VIP section. The VIP section will not be tied in with the forums, it will be kept something seperate. This is how the VIP section will work: A MySpace and Twitter account will be created for you future VIP Members. The MySpace works like this: Each week to two weeks, I select log onto the VIP MySpace, and randomly accept ten friend requests. Those who don't make the cut do get denied friend requests, but you can always try back again! For those of you who do not have MySpace, the VIP Twitter will randomly accept five of you lucky people every two weeks! So getting into the VIP stuff that way is harder, but more updated than the MySpace. I have not exactly planned everything the VIP section has to offer, but it will offer some merch deals for both Breathe Carolina and BCNation. YES! That's right, BCNation will have merch in the near future! It is going to take me a while to get stuff straight, I probably won't have stuff made until Warped Tour. I will be printing all shirts myself and shipping everything out on my own time! I will have more information for you all on the merch as soon as I get things straight! As well as these additions to the site, I will be adding the ask page I have been mentioning in my Twitter updates. The ask page will work just as Formspring does, but it works a tad bit differently. If you have any questions, visit the ask page, type your name and your question and submit it. The question will be sent to my e-mail or Cristina's. We will both have ask accounts set up, so whoever you see more fit to answer the question, ask. I am hoping to have the ask pages ready this upcoming weekend if time permits! On to dates! In February, the new BCNation MySpace will be up! I am working on the layout as you are reading this, and I promise, it will be sick! The official date of BCNation's Full Launch was postponed back at the end of December, as most of you know, and I still have not rescheduled an official date, but I am shooting for June! I know, that is such a long ways away, but the site has to be perfect before it's released! The beta's release was very unorganized, and I don't want that to happen again because of a deadline! As things progress over the next couple of months, I will be making minor changes to the forums here and there, until everything gets a bit more organized. STAFF MEMBERS, for those of you who do not want your staff positions anymore, please send me an e-mail or talk to me on Twitter. When I drafted out staff members, I put too many staff members on the team, and we don't need as many as I had expected. Everything on the forums has been an experiment, and everything has been a success, but too many staff members feels unorganized for me. With all that said, I hope everyone looks forward to what is coming soon as much as I am!

Breathe Carolina Collective Book
Hey everyone! Long time no update? I'm sorry for the lack of updates these past two months! Anyways, as I announced on Twitter, I would be posting an announcement today. As you all know, I will be seeing the guys in March. I had the idea of putting together some sort of book with a collection of letters and photos from all of their fans so I can give it to them when I see them. I have been thinking of ways I can have everyone participate in being a part of something that would mean a lot to the guys, and I want all of you to be able to participate! What you can do is write a letter to the guys, telling them how much they mean to you, if they changed you in some way and how, or just in general thanking them for whatever show experience you had with them. To make your letters more personal, you can add photos to your letter decorate it, as long it is not irrelevant (as in drawing a Pikachu on something for Breathe Carolina). You can attatch things to your letter like bracelets or something, because I know a lot of you make stuff like that for them. If you do make a bracelet and send it in, staple or tape it to your letter. You can send in your submissions to me at tjmarsh@bcnation.net or you can send it to me in the mail. I will not disclose my address in this post, but you can DM me or message me on MySpace for my address to send in your submissions. Also, when you send in your submissions, if you would not like me to read it, please put do not read and I will simply not read it and put it in the book. The deadlines for submissions is on March 10th, 2009. I look forward to seeing everyone's send in their submissions!
